Meeting on "Europe and the Arab Spring: responding to the changing Arab Order" organised by the European Investment Bank and Friends of Europe
Dit orgaan financiert projecten waarmee de doelstellingen van de Europese Unie kunnen worden gerealiseerd. De EIB leent goedkoop geld en leent dat op haar beurt tegen gunstige voorwaarden uit aan banken en bedrijven.
Deze onafhankelijke non-profit denktank is gevestigd in Brussel en heeft tot doel open discussie over Europa en haar toekomst te stimuleren. De leden van Friends of Europe bestaan onder meer uit EU-functionarissen, burgergroepen, vertegenwoordigers uit het bedrijvsleven, niet-gouvernementele organisaties, ondernemingsorganisaties, de pers en academici.
