ECB and UK strike deal on clearing houses

The European Central Bank and Bank of England agreed Sunday to exchange more information regarding UK-based counter parties which approve trades in euros. The move follows a March ruling by the European Court of Justice that the ECB had no power to require clearinghouses to be based in the eurozone.
