Artikel 5: Right of petition

Please note: Only the Dutch-language version of the Constitution has legal effect. 

This article gives everyone, including groups of people, the right to submit written requests or complaints to a relevant public authority, such as a minister, the House of Representatives, a municipal executive or a water authority.
