Budget Raad van Europa voor 2006 vastgesteld op 262,6 mln euro (en)

Met dank overgenomen van Raad van Europa (RvE) i, gepubliceerd op vrijdag 2 december 2005.

Strasbourg, 02.12.2005 - The Ministers' Deputies of the Council of Europe have adopted the Organisation's budgets for 2006.

Once again, the new ordinary budget represents a zero growth increase in real terms. Resources will be mainly dedicated to the implementing of the Action Plan adopted by the heads of state and government in Warsaw in May this year.

The European Court of Human Rights will receive extra resources to deal with its increased workload and to improve the efficiency of the supervision of the execution of its judgements.

Together with the Partial Agreements and other budgets, the Council of Europe total budget amounts to 262.60 million euros.
