Besluitpunt "DG EDUCATION AND CULTURE ­ APPOINTMENT OF AD14/15 DIRECTOR (P"

The Commission had before it applications under Article 29(1)(a)(i) and (iii) of the Staff Regulations for the post of Director, Directorate Lifelong learning:

horizontal Lisbon policy issues and international affairs, in the Directorate-General for Education and Culture (PERS(2008)106 and /2).

PV(2009)1883 final (22 July 2009) PV(2009)1883 final 13 The Commission took note of the opinions of the Consultative Committee on Appointments of 18 December 2008 and 8 January 2009 (PERS(2008)106/3 and /4).

It proceeded to compare the applicants' qualifications for the post.

It also considered the applicants' ability, efficiency and conduct in the service.

On a proposal from Mr KALLAS, in agreement with the PRESIDENT and Mr FIGEL', it then decided to appoint Mr Jordi CURELL GOTOR to the vacant post.

This decision would take effect on a date to be determined.
