Besluitpunt "DG FISHERIES AND MARITIME AFFAIRS ­ APPOINTMENT OF AD14/15 DIRECTOR (P"

The Commission had before it applications under Article 29(1)(a)(i) and (iii) of the Staff Regulations for the post of Director, Directorate Baltic Sea, North Sea and Landlocked Member States, in the Directorate General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (PERS(2008)118 and /2).

The Commission took note of the opinions of the Consultative Committee on Appointments of 15 October 2008 and 8 January 2009 (PERS(2008)118/3 and /4).

It proceeded to compare the applicants' qualifications for the post.

It also considered the applicants' ability, efficiency and conduct in the service.

On a proposal from Mr KALLAS, in agreement with the PRESIDENT and Mr BORG, it then decided to appoint Mr Ernesto PENAS LADO to the vacant post.

This decision would take effect on a date to be determined.
