EU veroordeelt terroristische aanslag in de Tokat provincie van Turkije (en)

The Presidency of the European Union condemns yesterday's terrorist attack on a military patrol in the Tokat province, which cost the lives of seven Turkish soldiers and injured several others.
The Presidency would like to express its sorrow at the loss of life and offers its condolences to the families of the deceased soldiers and to the Turkish people.
The Presidency hopes that the perpetrators will be brought to justice as soon as possible, and reaffirms its full support to Turkey in the fight against terrorism.
The Presidency also hopes that this terrorist attack will not deter the Turkish Government from pursuing the democratic opening initiative.
