Besluitpunt "DG RESEARCH ­ APPOINTMENT OF AD15/16 DEPUTY DIRECTOR- GENERAL (P"

The Commission had before it applications under Article 29(1)(a)(i) and (iii) of the Staff Regulations for the post of Deputy Director-General responsible for the outsourcing and implementation of new mechanisms under the 7 th Framework Programme within the Research Directorate-General (PERS(2009)59 and /2).

The Commission took note of the opinions of the Consultative Committee on Appointments of 19 and 26 June 2009 (PERS(2009)59/3 and /4).

It proceeded to compare the applicants' qualifications for the post.

On a proposal from Mr KALLAS, in agreement with the PRESIDENT and Mr POTOCNIK, it then decided to appoint Mr Wolfgang BURTSCHER to the vacant post.

This decision would take effect on a date to be determined.
