EU-vertegenwoordiger Kwasniewski in gesprek met Oekraïense president Janoekovitsj (en)

Aleksander Kwasniewski, the Polish Presidency’s Special Representative to the European Council, met with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in Kiev on the 9thof September.
During an open and constructive face-to-face discussion, which lasted 2 hours and 40 minutes, they discussed at length, issues relating to the upcoming Eastern Partnership summit, the state of EU-Ukraine negotiations on an Association Agreement, and the establishment of a deep and comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA).
President Yanukovych also stated Ukraine’s position on the current internal situation in Ukraine with relation to recent developments which had attracted the concern of Ukraine’s European partners.
