Frankrijk legt eerste boetes op voor dragen gezichtsverhullende niqab (en)

A French court for the first time on Thursday imposed fines on two women who continue to wear the full-face Niqab veil in defiance of a law banning them. The women, Hind Ahmas and Najate Nait Ali, say they will appeal as far as the European Court of Human Rights.
