Syrische bank op Europese zwarte lijst (en)

Following a Russian-Chinese veto of a UN-resolution against the Syrian regime, the EU is preparing further sanctions against Damascus, including a blacklisting of the Commercial Bank of Syria. Fresh sanctions on 29 Iranians accused of human rights violations are also to be announced, EU diplomats said Thursday, AFP reported.
