Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti i has said the EU should focus more on economic growth when tackling the eurozone crisis. "I cannot be successful if the EU does not change its policies," he told German newspaper Die Welt on Wednesday. "Otherwise, Italy may fall into the hands of populists."
