Crime generates €1.59 trillion in annual revenues, or 3.6 percent of the world's GDP, says the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). Using figures from 2009, the UNODC and the World Bank, estimate that €30 billion is lost through corruption in developing countries, while €24 billion is from human-trafficking.
