Italiaanse bank mogelijk in overtreding door transacties met Iran (en)

Italian bank Unicredit is facing investigation by US regulators over alleged violations of the international trade embargo on Iran. A statement said that Unicredit was "conducting a broader review in compliance with US economic sanctions". Earlier this month UK bank Standard Chartered was fined €300m for handling Iranian transactions.
