Jennifer Baker is joined by Céline Bayer, Spokesperson for the S&D group, to discuss about the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF).

On the 13^th of March, the European Parliament rejected the Council agreement on the MFF, that established 3 per cent less in real terms than the existing budget and was actually the first reduction in the budget since the union’s formation.

The EP called for more flexibility and the President of Parliament, Martin Schulz, said the parliament would not negotiate until unpaid payment claims for 2012 had been covered.
