Met dank overgenomen van Directoraat-generaal Migratie en Binnenlandse Zaken (HOME) i, gepubliceerd op woensdag 10 april 2013.

The 'EU Internal Security Strategy in Action' comprises 41 actions targeting the most urgent security threats facing Europe (IP/10/1535 and MEMO 10/598). They include a shared agenda to disrupt criminal and terrorist networks, to protect citizens, businesses and societies against cybercrime, corruption or trafficking, and to strengthen the Union's readiness and response to crises.

Today the Commission adopted its second implementation report, which takes stock of the recent and forthcoming activities under each of the five objectives of the strategy (2011-2014).
