Jennifer Baker is joined by Paolo Alberti, spokesperson for the S&D Group i in the European Parliament, to discuss the Common European Asylum System.

On Wednesday 12 June, MEPs vote on a Common European Asylum System, which aims to establish common procedures for asylum applications, a set of rights for asylum seekers and alleviate the influx to member states unable to cope with more asylum seekers.
