Calm Mediterranean waters allowed hundreds of migrants to make it to Europe by boat over the weekend, reaching Sicilian coasts, the Calabria region or brought to the island of Lampedusa by the Italian Coast Guard, news agency Ansa reported Sunday. A Tunisian tun trawler alone brought 260 refugees to safety.
