EU verbiedt aantal chemicaliën in speelgoed (en)

An EU-wide ban on a series of chemicals in toys went into force Satursday. "Substances which are carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic to reproduction as well as 55 allergenic fragrances are now banned from use in toys," the commission said, with labelling warnings for another 11 substances considered as "potential allergens."
