Debat over migrantenbeleid naar aanleiding van ramp bij Lampedusa (en)

EU policy on migrants crossing the Mediterranean will be debated with Home Affairs Commissioner Cecilia Malmström on Wednesday at around 5 p.m. EU and member state measures to prevent further tragedies like the drownings that took place off the coast of Lampedusa on 3 October, better cooperation and enhanced solidarity both with migrants and with countries facing increasing migratory flows are likely to take centre stage.
