The Belgian authorities have, since the beginning of 2012, blocked the right of 2,528 European citizens to stay in the country as they place an "unreasonable burden" on the social welfare system, reports Belga. Secretary of State for Asylum Maggie De Block made the announcement Tuesday after a parliamentary question.
