The EU delegation in Ukraine has called for a "prompt investigation" into the "brutal attack" Tuesday on Tetyana Chornovil, who writes for the Ukrainska Pravda opposition website. Chornovil has been an outspoken critic of President Yanukovych and a high-profile participant in the pro-EU protests of recent weeks.
