EU economic migrants flock to UK

Migrants from crisis-hit EU countries flocked to the UK last year, official figures show. The number of Italians went up 66% year-on-year, Portuguese 47%, and Spanish 36%. Meanwhile, the number of Bulgarians and Romanians went up 166%, from 9,000 in 2012 to 24,000. The net inflow was 212,000 people.
