UN says Crimea split has 'no validity'

The United Nations General Assembly in New York has voted by 100 against 11 with 58 abstentions to say the referendum in Crimea had "no validity" and cannot form the basis for secession. Countries which backed Russia include Belarus, Bolivia, Cuba, North Korea, Nicaragua, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela and Zimbabwe.
