EU clears final legal obstacle to Ukraine treaty

Spain on Monday completed domestic legal preparations to enable all 28 EU countries to sign a free trade treaty with Ukraine. The signature ceremony is to take place in Brussels on Friday, together with similar treaties for Georgia and Moldova, despite Russia's attempts to derail the initiative.
