The informal meeting of Foreign Affairs Ministers, which was held in Milan and chaired by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton i, has concluded. The focus of the first foreign policy event under the Italian Presidency has been the EU role with regard to the crisis in Ukraine, the conflicts arising in Siria, Iraq and Libia and extending to the Arab world and the situation in Gaza.
