'Italy requires use of advanced biofuel in transport'

In four years' time 0.6 percent of Italy's petrol and diesel must contain so-called advanced biofuels, the government decided according to the BBC. This second generation of biofuels uses mostly agricultural waste products instead of crops and is said to require less arable land.
