UK close to EU divorce, warns former PM

The UK and the EU are "close to a breach that's not in our interests or theirs", former Prime Minister John Major will say in a speech on Thursday. Major, who negotiated and passed the Maastricht treaty, will be speaking at a meeting of the centre-right Konrad Adeneuer Stiftung.
