Conference on synergy between Clean Sky and European Structural and Investment Funds

Met dank overgenomen van Comité van de Regio's (CvdR) i, gepubliceerd op woensdag 27 mei 2015.

The Clean Sky i Joint Undertaking is developing close interactions with interested States and Regions in order to strengthen both their R&I innovation capacity in aeronautics and the leverage effect resulting from synergies between European Structural and Investment Funds ( ESIF)and the Clean Sky programmes.

While keeping the funding processes and rules of each body, the purpose is to identify and apply mechanisms for ensuring complementarity and synergy through ESIF in the most relevant research and innovation projects. Many Regional Smart Specializations (RIS3) submitted by the Regions to the EU indicate aeronautics and correlated areas as a priority for ESIF funding.

A first Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Midi-Pyrénées Region (France) on February 25th 2015.

The event will take place on Wednesday 17 June 2015, 9:30 - 11:00 at Paris Air Show - Conference Centre, Room 2. To attend the event, please register here.
