Dublin in dispute with EU statistical agency

A political storm has broken out in Ireland over a decision by Eurostat i that the Irish Water utility company must stay on the government's balance sheets after it failed a market corporation test. Finance minister Noonan confirmed the national debt and GDP ratio would be affected by the decision.
