Irish data watchdog to investigate Facebook

Ireland's Data Protection Commissioner is going to investigate Facebook's transfer of personal data of Europeans to the US, Irish media reported on Tuesday. The probe follows a decision by the European Court of Justice earlier this month, which rendered the so-called Safe Harbour agreement on EU-US data transfer void.
