Businessman named new Croatian prime minister

Croatia's President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on Wednesday named CFO of Teva Pharmaceuticals, Tihomir Oreskovic, as the country's next prime minister, 46 days after parliamentary elections were held with no clear winner. Oreskovic is not affiliated with any political party but emerged as the compromise candidate of Croatia's two conservative parties.
