Ukraine chooses Crimean Tatar for Eurovision

A Crimean Tatar singer will represent Ukraine at the Eurovision song contest in May. Singer Jamala will participate in the contest with a song called 1944, about the deportation of Crimean Tatars to Central Asia by Stalin. Crimea was annexed by Russia in 2014.
