French court approves evacuation of Calais migrant camp

The Lille administrative tribunal authorised Thursday the evacuation of a part of the Calais camp where around 4,000 migrants live. In response to the imminent evacuation, justified by authorities for sanitary reasons, Belgium reintroduced checks on its French border earlier this week to deter migrants from entering the country.
