Rule of law in Poland: Civil Liberties Committee to debate state of play

Civil Liberties Committee MEPs will question Commission First Vice-President Frans Timmermans i about the respect of the rule of law in Poland on Wednesday, at 17:30. The Commission began investigating the situation in Poland under the "Framework for addressing systemic threats to the Rule of Law" on 13 January 2016. The purpose of the meeting is to assess the progress of the investigation procedure and discuss possible further developments.
The meeting is scheduled for 17:30 to 18:30 on Wednesday 22 March in room 3C050 (Paul-Henri Spaak building, Brussels).
