The second meeting of the European Political Community brought together leaders from across the continent at Mimi Castle in Bulboaca, Moldova.
We are 45 countries represented here in Chișinău - it is a powerful symbol.

The European Political Community
The European Political Community aims to

-foster political dialogue and cooperation to address issues of common interest

-strengthen the security, stability and prosperity of the European continent
This platform for political coordination does not replace any existing organisation, structure or process and does not aim to create new ones at this stage.
At the first meeting of the European Political Community in October 2022, leaders mainly discussed peace and security issues, especially Russia’s war in Ukraine, and the energy crisis.
The next European Political Community meetings will take place in Spain and the United Kingdom.
Pentalateral meeting
Meeting with President of Azerbaijan and Prime Minister of Armenia
In the margins of the meeting, President of the European Council Charles Michel, Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz and President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
We will do everything on the EU side in order to help, to provide assistance, to make more progress in the direction of normalisation of the relations.

They addressed several topics - connectivity, security and rights, the border delimitation, the peace treaty - and will reconvene in Brussels on 21 July.
