Selection of new European Commission president to take weeks

German Chancellor Angela Merkel i on Saturday said the final selection of the next European Commission president could take weeks, reports AFP. Merkel said European leaders and heads of government will meet on May 27 but a decision would be taken only after lengthy negotiations.
