The six-week-old party of Slovenia's Miro Cerar, a political newcomer, won elections Sunday, scooping 35% of the vote. Cerar campaigned on an anti-corruption and anti-privatisation platform. The elections were sparked by PM Alenka Bratusek’s resignation in May over EU-pushed privatisation plans. Cerar's government will be the fourth since 2008.
