New Member of the ECA takes up her duties: Bettina Jakobsen (Denmark)

Bettina Jakobsen took up her duties as a Member of the European Court of Auditors i (ECA) on 1 September 2015.
On 20 July, following her nomination by the government of Denmark and after consultation with the European Parliament, the Council of the European Union appointed Ms Jakobsen as a new ECA Member for the period 1 September 2015 to 28 February 2018.
The College of the EU’s auditors, in its new composition, will meet to assign the new Member to a chamber and determine her specific duties. A new organigram, along with the new Member's individual photograph and CV, will be available shortly on the ECA’s website www.eca.europa.eu.
