Ukrainians received most EU residence permits in 2014

302,800 Ukrainians received a residence permit in an EU country in 2014, according to Eurostat. They were the main beneficiaries of the 2.3 million permits issued, ahead of US citizens (199,200), Chinese (169,700) and Indians (134,900). The UK issues the most permits, ahead of Poland, Germany and France.
