Met dank overgenomen van Europese Rekenkamer i, gepubliceerd op maandag 9 november 2015.

The European Court of Auditors i (ECA) has published specific annual reports on European Agencies for the financial year ended 31 December 2014. Every year, the ECA audits the annual accounts and the legality and regularity of the transactions underlying those accounts, for all the European Agencies.

European Agencies are created by EU legislation to undertake specific tasks and are active in many areas, such as safety, security, health, research, finance and migration. Each agency has its own mandate, board, director, staff and budget.
