Consumer group urges EU antitrust action against McDonald's

Three Italian consumer groups, Codacons, Movimento Difesa del Cittadino and Cittadinanzattiva, have filed a complaint to the EU i Commission against McDonald's. They say the fast-food giant's franchise business model breaks antitrust rules. The commission, which opened a tax fraud case against McDonald's in December, said it is examining the request.
