Renzi 'ready' to call confidence vote on same-sex unions

Italian PM Matteo Renzi said he was "ready" to call a vote of confidence in the parliament over his bill to grant recognition to same-sex couples. The bill, which is stuck in Senate after the 5-Star Movement withdrew its support, will be examined by the lower house of parliament Wednesday.
