EU anti-fraud chief's immunity lifted

The European Commission lifted the immunity of Giovanni Kessler, director of Olaf, the EU's anti-fraud agency, on 2 March, the chair of the European Parliament's budgetary control committee, Ingeborg Graessle, told EUobserver, adding that she had the information from "several different sources". The Commission has so far refused to comment.
