Inhoudsopgave van deze pagina:
Dit comité van de Raad i is verantwoordelijk voor culturele zaken. Daarom evalueert en bediscussieert het alle voorstellen en initiatieven die met EU-samenwerking op het gebied van cultuur te maken hebben. Het comité richt zich zowel op samenwerking binnen de EU als tussen de EU en niet-EU-landen.
Het werk is gebaseerd op de cultuurplannen van de EU-ministers van cultuur. De raadswerkgroep ondersteunt het COREPER I i. Het COREPER I bestaat uit de plaatsvervangend permanent vertegenwoordigers van de EU-lidstaten i en richt zich met name op de behandeling van vaktechnische dossiers.
