Europe Lecture 2014: Europe in the World: Peace and Security

DEN HAAG (PDC i) - Preparations for the Europe Lecture 2014 are well underway! This year, the subject of the lecture will be "Europe in the World: Peace and Security".

Seeing the recent problems in the Eastern region of Europe, as well as Europe's attempt to acquire a position in international peace operations, the topic is of major interest. For example, what position should the European Union have in the world, from a political and security point of view? How should European politicians manage security related problems, like immigration and imminent threats from foreign actors? These questions will be broadly discussed during the Europe Lecture.
